Summer House‘s Lindsay Hubbard promised In the City will deliver authentic friendships and – of course – drama!
From the Hamptons to the City:
“It gets crazier [than the trailer suggests], if you could imagine,” boasted Lindsay to Us Weekly. “The new people are actually old people to me. A lot of them are my best friends for years and years.”
Lindsay reunited with her Summer House castmates of the past and present including Kyle Cooke & Amanda Batula and Daniella Olivera & Andrea Denver, respectively.
In the City introduces Nick Barber, Katie DeLuca, Georgina Ferzli, Whitney Fransway, Eoin Heavey, Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley, Yvonne Najor, and Lexi Sundin.
“We have one of my best friends, Yvonne, [who] has been in my life for many, many, many years, but you’re finally going to meet her and her husband, Nick. We have Georgina, who’s another best girlfriend of mine. She’s also a single mom. I think you’re just gonna love everyone.”
“It’s very rare that I am shocked while filming a show. In the middle of filming, I was like, ‘Oh, this is going to be a good show. Sh*t.’ I feel like we filmed it as if it was going to be, like, 25 episodes. There’s a lot of content.” Without giving away too many details about In the City, Lindsay hinted that the show will be worth tuning in for. “You’re going to watch and find out for yourself.”
The hype:
The internet has been in a full spiral ever since Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their rumored romance in a joint statement.
Naturally, fans have been wondering how the spinoff — which filmed last fall — will handle their now public relationship.
While the trailer doesn’t fully dive into their romance, it does show Amanda and West linking up. West greeted his costar-turned-lover with a casual “Mandy.”
In the City premieres May 19, kicking off with a two-hour crossover event alongside the Summer House Season 10 finale.
In the City premieres on Bravo Tuesday, May 19, at 9 p.m. ET and streams the next day on Peacock.
