The Summer House scandal that we feared is true … Amanda Batula is dating West Wilson.
Fans of Bravo TV‘s hit show know this is more than a casual summer fling, as they have loved ones who are left as casualties of the budding relationship.
The statement:
Amanda and West posted joint statements to their Instagram stories ahead of tonight’s all-new Summer House episode. “We’ve seen the growing online speculation. So while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity.”
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationsjip dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows. What’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
“As out feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We alson recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
“We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

There have been a ton of rumors circulating about the Summer House stars hooking up, but many of us didn’t want to believe it.
West is buddies with Kyle, which isn’t cool, BUT AMANDA IS CLOSE FRIENDS WITH CIARA!! Ciara and West casually dated a couple summers ago, but Ciara was left with major feelings. In time, West realized how truly special Ciara is, and seemingly was moving to do right by her. HA!
