Lindsay Hubbard Questioned Carl Radke’s Return To Loverboy After Saying It Was The “Worst Four Years Of His Life”

Lindsay Hubbard revealed the source of the conflict between her and Carl Radke regarding his return to Loverboy. The sandwich-loving Summer House star appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast to discuss her hesitations over her former fiancée returning to a job that made him seemingly miserable.

Carl on working for Loverboy:

“He literally told me at the Alien party – and I wish they didn’t cut this out – that was the worst four years of his life. It was so emotionally and physically draining on him, so much so that he needed the last nine months to decompress from working at Loverboy for four years. Two weeks later, we’re in the kitchen having this conversation” about him going back to Loverboy. Of course I’m going to have questions!

Lindsay wondered what changed:

Lindsay asked Carl, “Are you sure this is what you want to do?” Additionally, “What’s going [going to make this] a different work environment between you and Kyle now versus last time? Have you guys outlined that? What’s going to be the difference in the roles? Is there a salary or pay difference? Are you getting more equity for working on the nonalcoholic brand? Are going to be forced to travel and do promos at bars?”

“That was a big thing Carl complained about … being around drunk people all the time and he’s the sober one. He’s the one out there on the streets promoting as if he were a founder and partner when he’s sober and Kyle [Cooke] is sitting at home.”

• Agree. They didn’t need to be together. They both did some horrible things but agree with Lindsay’s questions.
