Kiki Barth thinks Melissa Gorga‘s online following is fake.
During Bravo’s Fan Fest, Andy Cohen asked Real Housewives of Miami‘s Kiki which housewife she believes pays for Instagram followers.
The RHOM personality doesn’t think Melissa’s run on the Real Housewives of New Jersey earned her a higher follower count than other housewives.
Kiki dragged Melissa:
“You know, that lady,” began Kiki. “I’ve seen it myself. Not Teresa [Giudice], the other one.” Andy asked, “Melissa?”
“Melissa,” agreed Kiki. She restated, “I’ve seen it myself.”
While she didn’t elaborate on how she knows Melissa’s follower count is paid for, Kiki isn’t the first housewife to make this accusation about Melissa.
Chanel Ayan thinks Melissa buys IG followers:
Chanel Ayan called Melissa Gorga out for allegedly having more Instagram followers than Real Housewives who get gigs outside of Bravo.
The Real Housewives of Dubai diva couldn’t believe her eyes. Melissa “can’t have more followers than Teresa or the Kenya Moore?!” laughed the RHODubai personality.
“Did she buy them? 😂😂😂😂 Sorry, not sorry,” expressed the Bravolebrity who had VVVVVIP seats the the Beyoncé concert. “Don’t care.🤷♀️”
Where it started:
During an interview with Andy Cohen earlier this year, a caller asked Melissa about Ayan’s claim against her.
Melissa explained to the WWHL host, Chanel “Is good friends with [Teresa Giudice]. So, out of nowhere, she tweeted, ‘How does Melissa Gorga have more followers than all of the Housewives? She must buy fake followers.”
“More followers than which housewives,” asked Bravo’s daddy. Melissa answered, “I guess than everyone on my cast. Then, she said Kenya Moore. Which I do. I’m very good at marketing [and] I’m good on social. I’m good on Instagram.” Andy came to her defense. “You’ve been on Jersey for like 12 years.” She interrupted him to say, “14 years. 2010. It’s 2024.”
Andy continued, “Also, the ratings for Jersey have been huge. Jersey and Atlanta were both huge together at the same time.” Melissa reminded the audience that she’s been a housewife five years longer than Kenya.”
