John Janssen defended why he filmed RHOC with Shannon Beador despite not wanting to … and it’s not because he’s fame hungry. During an appearance on Carlos King’s podcast, Johnny J clarified the rumors that he was eager to be on camera with his new girlfriend, Alexis Bellino.
The returning Real Housewives of Orange County boyfriend explained why he filmed with Shannon. “What the majority of people do not know is that I ended up making decisions saying, ‘I’m not going to film.'”
Good Samaritan:
Johnny J set the stage. “Now, at the time, I’m with Shannon. I care about her. She wouldn’t survive if she didn’t have the job, so I was put in a very difficult position. I agreed to film.”
“Then, people say I lit up on camera and stuff. I’m shy, actually, and I was trying to make the best of it. I’m not trying to be a dud. So, I tried to make the best of it. So, whatever they saw, that’s what it was.”
“I did [the show] for Shannon.” Jesus Jugs chimed in to add her piece. Johnny J “isn’t eager to jump on camera this season with me. And I filmed the whole season.” Regarding the backlash John got after making a public appearance with her, Alexis explained people’s reactions. “Oh, but he went on the red carpet with you.”
Jesus Jugs snapped, “I asked him to. He did it as a favor for me because I wanted to go to that event. He doesn’t want me going alone; he wants to go with me.”
