Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper made headlines when she kissed Chase McWhorter, fellow MomToker Miranda Hope‘s ex.
Knowing that she did her friend dirty, Jessi took accountability for the move by sending Miranda flowers with a note that read, “I completely understand you being upset with me.”
Months later, Jessi dished about the kiss on Hulu’s Get Real podcast.

According to Jessi, she’s in good standing with SLOMW cast mates. “I would say, for the most part, I’m good with everyone.”
“There’s maybe one that I’m not, Miranda. I screwed that up. And I’m Team Miranda, I have to say.”
Jessi admitted that kissing Chase was an “awful” thing to do. “We had a connection. I was in a vulnerable state, and he was really there for me after the divorce.”
“MomTok was falling apart during that time. This was when all of the news was breaking, and none of the girls were really talking. So I was leaning on him, which was the wrong idea.”
“I had just left Jordan, and my emotions were so heightened, and it just happened, and we were drunk.” Still, Jessi agreed Chase was a “good support system” for her. “He is. I think that’s why he and Miranda are so close. She would say the same. He’s really, really great.”
