Jax Taylor Writes Heartfelt Message To Cruz Amid His Mental Health Treatment, But Not To Brittany Cartwright

Jax Taylor had a special message for his son, Cruz, after checking into an inpatient treatment center for mental health care.

The star of The Valley took to his Instagram story to share why he’s decided to make this giant step for his own mental well-being.  “Trying to get better for you, buddy. Daddy loves you so much.” Jax proceeded to tag his 3-year-old’s Instagram account in the message. Nowhere in Jax’s post was mention of his wife/baby mama, Brittany Cartwright.

Bravo TV fans react:

  • I have extreme respect for people bettering their mental health. However… This is so performative. 🙄 Cruz can’t log on to freaking instagram and see this so who is this post really for? Also, get off social media & do the work my guy!

A message from Jax’s rep to TMZ:

“Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast. He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment. This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter.”

Jax Was Cryptic On Social Media Before Getting Professional Help:

“On Monday, Jax posted a picture on his IG story with a caption that read ‘Healing.’ The post also showed two books … one titled ‘Get Out of Your Mind & Into Your Life’ and the other was ‘Set Boundaries, Find Peace.’”
