It’s All Happening at Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney‘s sandwich shop, Something About Her. Still Films, Inc. posted a ‘Notification of Filming’ on the building’s exterior on January 2, 2025.
The notice:
“Dear Residents and Businesses, We are proposing to film scenes at the location below on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, between 7 am and 10 pm for our project.
640 N. Robertson – Something About Her“
Activity:
“Interior dialogue inside location; camera on sticks/dolly and also handheld.”
“Exterior walk-up/establishing b-roll at frontage of location with camera on sticks and also handheld at frontage of location on sidewalk and also across the street on sidewalk only.”
Basecamp activity inside filming location/on private property and at 665 Robertson Blvd. during our filming hours.
“We would like to post ‘No Parking’ for working trucks/vans/generator at the meters below.”
“Tuesday, January 14, 2025 between 7 am and 10 pm. Eastside of Robertson Blvd, North El Tovar, 7 meters excluding loading zone.”
“All additional cast/crew and production vehicles will park on private property. Sidewalks will remain passable at all times. Pedestrian/vehicular traffic will not be interrupted.”
Commercial Area Filming:
“The City requires that we notify all merchants residents within 500 feet or more of any filming activity. Signatures may be required to confirm notification.”
“We understand the impact that filming can have on a neighborhood and want to assure you that we will work hard to minimize our presence by demonstrating extreme care and consideration while we are your guests. We have applied for the necessary permits and maintain all legal required liability insurance. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this project, please do not hesitate to call us.”

Will VPR Film at Something About Her?
Last month, Ariana Madix announced she’s (literally) holding space to host the next batch of SURvers at her and Katie’s sandwich shop … which is mere steps away from SUR.
The Broadway actress/Love Island USA host even offered their space for filming the upcoming season of VPR. (FYI, Jon Hutman, a designer for Nancy Meyers films, designed Something About Her … so it’s camera-ready!)
“If any of those kids next door at SUR want to pop into Something About Her and have a sandwich and have a little argument over some Cameron sandwiches and some Avaline wine, we’d love to have them,” she offered.
