Married To Medicine‘s Dr. Heavenly Kimes apologized for speaking negatively about certain males not being “real men.”
For context, Dr. Heavenly said, “When you have a conversation with somebody, if somebody gets upset and it goes to the left. Most men, real men, not gay men, not, not bitch men, you know what I’m saying?”
“The guys that have scared us off, but real men are gonna feel like, you know what I mean? Straight men are going to feel like if you tell my wife to shut the fuck up, I’m going to have a problem with it.”
Unfortunately for Dr. Heavenly, Bravo TV fans aren’t buying the apology she’s trying to sell.
The apology video:
“I’m emotional right now,” began Heavenly. “Again and again, let me apologize.”
“What I said before … I made a lot of people feel uncomfortable by something I said.”
But, immediately after apologizing, she blamed the audience for not correctly interpreting her words.
“It was mis-taken.”
Now, back to the apology …
“I want to say, I apologize. It was an ignorant statement I made about being a ‘real man.’ I want to apologize for that, again and again.”
“If y’all know me, you know I didn’t mean anything by it. But, it doesn’t take away from someone. I might have hurt their feelings, so I will apologize for that, again and again. That was wrong [and] ignorant.”

- As people it’s okay to make mistakes we all do……..however it’s like every week she is apologizing for something that she already know is offensive before it even comes out her mouth. Like grow up
- All that dumb talk just to bring Dr G down and insinuate he is something else. I hope she catches a lot of smoke this time. She never shut up.

Heavenly’s controversial statements on her podcast motivated Bravo TV fans to start a Change.org petition against her.
Martin Golan began the petition, “Dr. Heavenly Kimes, a star on Bravo’s ‘Married to Medicine,’ has recently made homophobic comments on her podcast.”
He continued, “These damaging remarks by Dr Kimes promote prejudices and directly harm an already marginalized group.”
