Looks like Demi Engemann may have been… demoted.
The SLOMW star was noticeably MIA from the Season 4 cast photo, despite popping up briefly in the new trailer.
“Maybe I have a new career in the works,” Demi teases from a recording booth — only for the trailer to immediately cut to a shady clip of her singing voice.
Her absence from the main cast lineup isn’t exactly shocking, considering where things left off last season.
Demi and former bestie Jessi Draper were still deep in fallout over the Marciano drama — with lingering questions about who allegedly crossed the line with him, Jessi or Demi.
At this point, viewers don’t seem fully convinced either way.
But what has been clear is the shift in fan sentiment toward Demi compared to the show’s early days.
And it’s extended to the cast, too.
Nearly the entire Secret Lives of Mormon Wives group showed up to support Whitney Leavitt’s Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago.Â
The only notable absence? Demi.
Based on recent social media activity, the only castmates consistently engaging with Demi’s posts are Taylor Frankie Paul and Whitney.
