The Traitors US star Danielle Reyes made a Cameo video explaining her gameplay going into The Traitors US … and how her former Big Brother competitor, Britney Haynes, affected her strategy.
Danielle’s motivation entering the castle:
The Big Brother seasons 3 and 7 star seemingly made a personalized video to promote the Cameo app. Danielle began, “A lot of people don’t know this … I wanted to be a Faithful. I told the producers, Faithful.”
But, after speaking with her family, she changed her strategy. “My mother said, ‘What if Britney’s there?’ I was like, ‘Oh, snap!'”
“I told myself, if I arrive at the castle and she’s not there, I want to be a faithful. But, if I see Britney, I have to be a Traitor … for game purposes. I was concerned Britney would take me out [and] I didn’t want to be taken out by her again.”
Here’s a quick summary of Britney and Danielle’s Big Brother history … Britney betrayed Danielle during BB: Reindeer Games, according to Danielle. Britney picked Danielle to compete in a challenge, which she lost. That got Danielle eliminated, leading to her repeatedly blaming Britney for it.
Danielle’s take on how she became a Traitor:
She continued, “When you see me do my pitch to Alan, I flipped it on the producers. And, I think they were shocked when I said I wanted to be a Traitor. I really do believe – and I could be wrong – but I think the producers were originally going to make Britney a Traitor.”
“But, because I came and flipped the script and I sat down with Alan. I just pitched a mafia pitch of no other than to become a Traitor. I pitched hard to become a Traitor. That was my position.”
