Clare Crawley has thrown her 2 cents into the current bachelor nation breakup drama.
The former Bachelorette posted to her Instagram stories in defense of Rachael Kirkconnell, adding her experience with the infamous Bachelor.
“Catching up on socal news and smh at some of this stuff,” Clare begins her allegation.
“Remembering that one time I specifically asked producers to please not allow one specific guy on my season because I knew for a fact he was NOT looking for a serious relationship whatsoever and I didn’t want him to waste anyone’s time.”
“So instead, the made him the next bachelor.”
Matt, will you accept this rose?
Matt went on to become the network’s first black bachelor. In addition to being a franchise trailblazer, he was best friends with Tyler Cameron, propping him up quite nicely to get the admiration of women everywhere.
Women like Rachael Kirkconnell.
We’ve since learned from Rachael’s POV in the relationship that Clare’s assessment of Matt wasn’t so far off.
Rachael revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that Matt did not want to move in together and avoided making solid future plans with his girlfriend of four years.
From what Rachael alleges, her relationship with the Bachelor was often one sided. Ultimately, Matt’s inability to see Rachael in a “wife” role led to his decision to split from the Georgia peach.
I guess the saying is true, men know instantly if they can see themselves marrying their partner. If they don’t know after four years, they likely never will.
