Fans were flabbergasted watching Alan Cumming‘s interview with Tom Sandoval on the season 3 premiere of The Traitors.
The iconic actor-now-host inquired whether the former Vanderpump Rules star wanted to play the game as a Faithful or a Traitor on the Emmy-winning show.
Peacock viewers found themselves in hysterics with Alan’s shady quip … at Sandoval’s expense.
Tom, a Faithful or a Traitor?
In a one-on-one discussion with Alan, Sandoval insisted that he would love to be a Faithful. “I don’t think I would do well as a Traitor.”

Alan asked, “How would you feel if I were to tap you on the shoulder?”

Alan is Team Ariana:
“Would you feel I’d betrayed you, Tom?” Cumming continued, serving snarky side-eye. Tom agreed while Alan proceeded to roast the infamous cheater.
“Doesn’t feel so nice, does it?”
Tom’s game-play:
Alan switched Sandoval’s role from a real-life ‘Traitor to a ‘Faithful’ … at least while in the Scottish castle.
Sandoval aggressively removed his blindfold after Alan’s selection. As a result, he made it on a few player’s radars as someone to suspect of being a Traitor.
Meanwhile, Tom named Selling Sunset star, Chrishell Stause, as a potential Traitor.
In a confessional, Chrishell called Tom out for throwing her name out. “First of all, who plays like that?”
“Second of all, I know Tom has a bias against me because I am friends with his ex. Knowing what he did to Ariana, I have an opinion of him already.”
“So, if the ship’s burning, he’s coming down with me,” threatened the high-end real estate agent.
This wasn’t the first time Alan poked fun at Tom:

The Emmy award nominated host revealed the Vanderpump Rules alum’s luggage didn’t make it to the Scottish castle for filming right away. Alan noted the distinction from Tom’s usual garb and the attire he was dressed in by production.
Instagram creator, @BravoBuds, created a meme that made it’s way to Alan’s radar while filming in the Scottish castle. Admittedly, the meme went over the Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion actor’s head at first. But, when the joke clicked, Alan lost it.
Alan elaborated, “I showed this to the stylist on set, and she said, ‘My God. Tomorrow he is wearing another Zara women’s suit.”
“What was funny was his luggage was lost the first few days so [production] had to dress him. So, he’s got some great looks in the first few days,” Alan shadily noted. “The first look he’s got is very good. He actually embraced the tartan, embraced a kilt. I was very, very pleased and proud.”
Lest did Alan know this isn’t the first time Tom’s worn a skirt. His BravoCon2023 ensemble forever haunts us …
