Todd and Julie Chrisley may be imprisoned, but that’s not going to stop them from filming small parts for their family’s upcoming show.
ICYMI, The Chrisley family’s new reality show, a still untitled project, will follow the family as they struggle to navigate life while Todd and Julie complete their prison sentences.
TMZ reported that production sources told the tabloid that “phone calls they make from prison will air on the series.”
Also, “Cameras aren’t allowed in prison. So, that’s part of the reason they’re going audio only. The show is currently in production and filming” claimed the insider.
Savannah and her brother Chase are serving as executive producers of the show. Savannah took custody of her younger siblings after her parents went to prison … and, it’s safe to assume all that and more will be covered in the upcoming show.
Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of financial crimes back in 2022. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, Julie to 7. Their appeals for lighter sentences have been denied.
Never forget …
Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, is has experience being a reality tv star and going to prison, so she was able to provide sage advice for reality TV‘s latest jailbirds, Todd and Julie Chrisley.
Tre’s nine months in prison was child’s play compared to Todd’s 12-year sentence and Julie’s sentencing of 7 years in the slammer. However, the RHONJ star felt she should impart her wisdom to her fellow white-collar criminals.
The mother of four dorters encouraged the couple to “stand strong for their family.” Another pro-tip from the newlywed is to “manifest while being in prison what they want when they get out.”
As far as Todd and Julie missing out on family milestones while incarcerated, Teresa didn’t mince words. “They have to make the best of it” and “stay connected.”
