Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville feels for Kim Zolciak as a “boy mom” now that her son, KJ Biermann, is being held without bond for sexual assault.
On her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, she called out her own hypocrisy for commenting on an underage kid who was dragged on TV by their parents. But because she’s a mom of boys, KJ’s case hit a nerve with the former model, causing her to speak out.
Brandi’s POV:
“All of my friends are texting me saying, ‘That kid’s fucked up. Man, that’s so fucked up what he did. I’m like, ‘Wait a minute. Let me look online. [The victim] alleged that KJ sexually assaulted her.”
Brandi mentioned the unaired Ultimate Girls Trip season that was pulled because she allegedly kissed and touched Caroline Manzo without her consent. “That shit, even if it’s just in the press, you don’t come back from it. Three years of hell from it. It’s life-ruining. It makes you question your mental health.”
“I’m fucking 50. I can handle a lot. But this is a 15-year-old kid. And I’m telling you, I was getting counseling. I was in a dark, dark space. What is it gonna do to this kid whose brain is not fully developed yet?”
“The girl alleged certain things, but when the police went to take her to the hospital, she had zero DNA on her body from him. Not in her mouth, not on her clothes, not on her body. They put him in jail. We’re not judge, jury, and whatever.”
“He’s exiled already. All my friends are saying they immediately believe it, and as a mom of boys, I’m like, ‘Did you read the f*cking article?’ Read it carefully, because anyone can say anything, I’m not discounting the fact that this woman [girl] has trauma, and that’s what she says happened. But let’s leave it to the justice system and not the press.”
Brandi said, “Kim is clickbait. This kid did not sign up for this. She’s got enough going on. His parents are going through a horrible divorce. They’re in the press every day. They lost their house. Kim’s lost all their money.”
