Fans hoping to finally watch the shelved season of The Bachelorette starring Taylor Frankie Paul will have to wait a little longer.
ABC officially released its Summer 2026 programming schedule and, despite ongoing speculation, Taylor’s season was nowhere to be found.
At this point, it’s fair to wonder if the season will ever actually air.
Popular Bachelor Nation spoiler account Reality Steve previously claimed ABC was expected to announce at the Upfronts that Taylor’s season would debut this summer on network television.
For context, the Upfronts are annual presentations where networks and streamers preview upcoming programming to advertisers in an effort to secure ad dollars ahead of the fall TV season.
But now that ABC’s summer slate is public, those theories have seemingly been debunked.
That said, just because the season isn’t airing this summer doesn’t necessarily mean ABC has scrapped it for good.
The network could still choose to release it at a later date — though interest from fans appears to have cooled significantly.
Honestly, knowing how the story ends with Taylor and the alleged winner of the season makes the whole thing feel far less compelling now.
ICYMI: Days before Taylor’s season was originally set to premiere, her ex and baby daddy Dakota Mortensen leaked video footage from a 2023 altercation between the pair.
The footage appeared to show Taylor as the aggressor, sparking major backlash online.
Let’s not forget Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives heavily centered Taylor’s arrest during its debut season.
