More details surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s altercation are continuing to come to light.
TMZ first broke the story and has since shared additional updates from sources close to production on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
According to the report, Taylor and Dakota were spending time together at his home when an argument started over Dakota’s romantic past — specifically his alleged hookup with cast member Shinia Powell.
Sources claim the fight turned physical, with Taylor allegedly grabbing Dakota by the throat, ripping off his necklace, and putting her hands on his face and neck.
The incident reportedly happened while their son, Ever, was in the room.
One source says Dakota initially called police, but the leader of MomTok allegedly convinced him to backtrack.
The following night, things reportedly escalated again.
Taylor allegedly scratched Dakota’s neck during another argument and threw his phone against a wall.
A friend later saw the marks on Dakota’s neck and contacted police, and responding officers reportedly observed visible injuries.
However, another source claims the situation may not have been one sided, alleging Dakota was the primary aggressor during a separate altercation that took place in a car.
Whatever the full story may be, the situation reportedly caused production to shut down while filming Season 5 of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
