As a person who has only seen 15 minutes of Survivor ever, recasting Mike White after his massive success as the brain behind The White Lotus may have secured my viewership.
Also, as a Traitors fan, I’d love to see Cirie Fields in her element. If you watched season 1 of The Traitors US, you’d know she’s masterful at gameplay.
Speaking of The Traitors US, I was really hoping Caroline Wiger would return to Survivor, but she went on the record saying Jeff doesn’t like it when his players do shows on other networks … which he admitted to. I’d like to know why Cirie is coming back, but not Caroline.

Hosted byย Jeff Probst, CBS announced earlier this year that they want to celebrate the show’s history and put its fans in the spotlight for Survivor 50.
So, over the past few months, fans voted on aspects of the game for season 50. That includes aesthetic choices like tribe colors and immunity necklace designs, to key aspects of the gameplay … including the final four fire-making challenge, first introduced in season 35, or if there will be hidden immunity idols, a power that has been a staple of the show since season 11!
“From the very first season,ย Survivorย has been evolving. Now, for our 50th season, it’s time for the next evolution,” Probst said in a press release. “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fansย is unlike anything we’ve done before. I can’t wait to see what the fans choose for our returning players.”
