The Southern Charm midseason trailer is here and Austen Kroll is firmly at the center of the chaos.
According to the official logline, a group getaway to Mexico “quickly turns explosive,” as “shocking confrontations” lead to the end of some relationships—and the beginning of others.
“As secrets threaten to spill and loyalties are put to the test, will friendships survive when what happened in Mexico doesn’t stay in Mexico?” the logline reads.
The Mexico trip teases a romance between Austen and Salley Carson.Â
Last episode ended with Austen’s then-girlfriend Audrey pulling him aside after clocking how much time he was spending with Salley.
Cut to the trailer, Austen and Salley are full-on making out, with Salley asking when he plans to take their flirtation to the next level.

Elsewhere, Shep Rose introduces a woman named Hannah and casually offers his services should she want kids…
We also see Austen and Craig Conover’s friendship hanging by a thread.
Austen unloads on Craig, accusing him of never taking accountability, calling him a lost soul, and claiming he wants to be anybody but himself.
