Southern Charm personality Salley Carson dished on the dynamic between Craig Conover and Venita Aspen.
During an interview on Two T’s In a Pod, the short-lived Bachelor Nation star expressed her frustration with Venita and Craig’s drama.
Squash the beef?
Salley explained, “I don’t know why [Venita] can’t move on” with Craig. “I really don’t understand it. That’s why I was being lighthearted about it.”
“Craig said stuff about her on Watch What Happens Live and just kind of wrote her off. But she also said negative things about him. They were both talking sh*t about each other.”
“He said he didn’t want to be associated with her anymore, that he doesn’t want to be friends with her anymore.”
“I have Venita’s back in all of this, especially since she ends up being right about a lot of stuff. However, I don’t think she went about it the right way.”
Have the tables turned?
Salley recalled how she supported Venita when she pursued JT Thomas even though she wasn’t a fan of his. “I told her, ‘Look, you like him. I’m your girl. I will try to like him for you. I will support this relationship.”
Making her feel even more misunderstood, Salley expressed her intention with Paige DeSorbo’s ex. “I was never trying to date Craig. Like, I wasn’t like, ‘I want to date him.’ I was just having fun hanging out with him.”
