Real Housewives of New York alum Sonja Morgan accused The Golden Life cast of mistreating her, causing her to stay away from the women when they aren’t filming.
In an interview with Page Six, Sonja revealed why she tends to avoid Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, and Dorinda Medley.
“They’re usually sleuthing around to get something on me.” Sonja continued, “They’re constantly trying to get info that they can throw up on the show, instead of just being themselves and acting like themselves, and not be higher than mighty.”
She feels her co-stars try to make her appear to “look less than” on screen using the dirt they dig up behind the scenes. She accused them of “bullying,” saying that it “gets annoying” and causes distance in their relationships.
“When I’m not filming, I’m pretty much up to here with the girls who do that. Sometimes, I feel like the girls just call me because they want to go where I’m going, or know what I’m knowing, and it doesn’t go that way.”
Sonja didn’t specify which or all of her castmates she was referring to. During her acceptance speech at the VRT Awards, she praised the New York Post for fact-checking “unlike some of [her] co-stars.”
The RHONY Legacy cast will return to the small screen on Oct. 20 when The Golden Life premieres on E!.
