Vanderpump Rules alum Scheana Shay detailed meeting Lady Gaga at the SNL afterparty.
During the Scheananigans podcast, Scheana explained her interaction with the actress/singer … including Gaga’s reaction to meeting Scheana.
Going Gaga for Scheana:
The OG of VPR began, “Gaga walks in. Bowen [Yang] is there. I’m hanging out.”
“Obviously, I’m going to go up and say hi.” She continued, “Right when she’s going from one table to the next, I’m walking to the bathroom, and I just go, ‘Hi.'”
Still stunned, Scheana recalled, “The look on [Lady Gaga’s] face. I was like, ‘You’re excited to see me?!?! What the f*ck?!?!’ It was insane.”
Scheana explained, “I have no camera. I just wanted to go say hi” to Lady Gaga. “But, I have five people behind me. They’re like, ‘We need to air-drop you these photos and videos.’ There’s no better photo that I could have got.”
At that point, Mother Monster’s paw grabbed Scheana’s hand to take me to meet Michael, her fiancé. She’s like, ‘Honey, Scheana.'”
“What is life?!” wondered Scheana Shay.
Gaga revealed she’s a Pump Rules (and Scheana) fan:
During an interview with Vanity Fair, the Abracadabra singer talked about some of our favorite reality shows, including VPR … while hooked up to a lie detector.
“Lady Gaga. We brought you here today to take a lie detector test. You will be hooked up to the machine and asked questions. Are you ready?”
The A Star Is Born actress was asked, “Are you excited for a new cast of Vanderpump Rules?” Appearing terrified to say the wrong thing, Gaga said ‘No.’ Then, quickly retracted to a ‘Yes.’
After a pregnant pause, Lady Gaga gave her final answer … “No.” The result was ‘inconclusive.’
Looking defeated, Gaga got her next question. “Who will you miss most from the original cast?”
After a brief thought, Gaga answered confidently. “Scheana.”
