Production Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has begun on its 7th season after being paused last week following the devastating news of Mary Cosby’s son, Robert Cosby Jr.’s death.
Mary is not filming for RHOSLC at the moment. The network plans to follow her lead, The Hollywood Reporter has learned, so she can return to film when she’s ready.
Production on season seven was scheduled to begin during the week of Feb. 23, but was paused after Robert Cosby Jr.’s death.
Screen Sourced posted an unverified detail about filming, “Cast Discusses Mary Cosby’s Son’s Death.”
Did Mary have a change of heart?
Last week, it was reported that Mary views going back to work as a way to maintain some structure during an unimaginably painful time, leaning heavily on her faith and inner circle for support.
According to reports from TMZ, the RHOSLC cast has also reportedly put aside any lingering on-camera drama to rally around Mary, with sources saying past tensions simply don’t matter right now.
Whether that was simply a rümor or Mary changed her mind, we wish Mary, Robert Sr. and everyone affected by Robert Jr.’s death peace during this terrible time.
