Real Housewives of New York producers are casting for “potential new ladies.”
According to a source to US Weekly, once the new talent is scouted, decisions of “who is [coming] back and who isn’t” will be made.
“It depends on who they find,” the insider shared. “It’s unclear on how many cast members they are looking for, and who may stay or who may go. Producers are always putting feelers out to see if they can find anyone new.”
Shed Casting put their feelers out for new women earlier this year:
The production company in charge of casting for Bravo’s RHONY and RHOSLC is looking for the next “Big Apple” holder. “It’s that time…🍎. Come and get your apple.”
The casting agency posted yesterday to their Instagram page that prospective Housewives should send an email to their production company to be considered.
For those interested in the process …
- must live the “Bravo” lifestyle
- applicants must reside in either Brooklyn or Manhattan
- applicants must have an organic connection to someone on the current cast
- age should range between 30s-50s
In-house casting?
Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard was interviewed by StyleCaster. They asked Lindsay what’s next as she potentially transitions away from partying in the Summer House.
The most obvious choice, especially as production is currently casting for season 16 of the Real Housewives of New York, is becoming a housewife. “It is top of mind for a lot of people at Bravo right now what to do with me,” Hubbs said. “I’ll leave it at that.”
She continued, “We did a lot of filming in the city the last couple of years. I live in the city. I’m also planning on being in the Hamptons. Maybe I’m not living at the house every weekend, but let’s stop by the house or let’s meet up at the beach or let’s go to the park in the city.”
“That’s the natural progression of how life goes in New York. I’m not the first person who’s had a baby who used to be in the crazy party share house. I’m just the first one on the show who has done that.”
