The who’s who:
The stunning Heidi Klum returns to host and serve as a judge alongside season 4 winner Christian Siriano as the workroom mentor. Nina Garcia and Law Roach return to the Judge’s panel. FYI, Law is also a co-executive producer.
Season 22 will include appearances from DWTS pros for a crossover episode. Pros Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Britt Stewart, and Julianne Hough will bring “glitz, glamour, and the quickstep” to the workroom.
Additional guest appearances from Project Runway’s season 21 winner Veejay Floresca, Bachelor Nation’s Charity Lawson, Love Thy Nader’s Sarah Jane Nader, and The Traitors US‘s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
Project Runway premieres July 9, 2026, on Hulu, Disney+, and Freeform.
There’s more!
In addition to season 35 of DWTS and the crossover with Project Runway, there is more new programming ahead for the DWTS fandom.
Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro, a new spin-off featuring Mark and Shirley Ballas, will premiere July 13, 2026, on ABC.
At Hulu’s Get Real event, Robert Irwin, season 34’s winner, announced he is hosting the competition reality show. He will be joined by a rotating lineup of returning pros who will serve as mentors and guest judges.
The Next Pro is a combination of competition and drama. “Featuring 12 up-and-coming dancers who move into a house together, the housemates will compete through the audition process, vying for a spot as a pro dancer on the upcoming Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars.”
“Crikey, this is going to be fun,” exclaimed Robert from the stage at the event. Shirley added, “Now it’s time to find the next pro who can keep up with our seasoned pros. And, whip these rookie stars into shape.”
