Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner have carved a lane for themselves independent of the show that connected them.
The Summer House duo launched their podcast, Giggly Squad, on October 19, 2020.
The name pays homage to Kyle Cooke’s insult to them back in season 4 when Hannah and Paige were “giggling” during a group dinner.
As one of the first “Bravo” podcasts, the besties take joy in knowing they don’t have to talk about the show to remain relevant.
However, Paige revealed that the network did ask for them to not talk about the show initially.
“Like we weren’t going to anyway,” Paige tells Amy Poehler on the Good Hang podcast.
“We wanted it to be more pop culture. And so now people are kind of surprised if they find us from Bravo, because they’re like, they never talk about Bravo.”
Because they haven’t mentioned Summer House on the pod, especially with Hannah’s firing, now they have no plans to.
“And now like, yeah, it doesn’t really go with who we are and like what we talk about. So it’s actually better that way.”
