MTV’s Surreal Life Cast Includes Kim Zolciak, Chet Hanks, And Johnny Weir

The cast of MTV’s Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets is here!

History:

The revival of the classic reality show comes years after the show originally went off air. Premiering on The WB in 2003, the show followed a group of celebrities as they lived together for a fortnight in a Hollywood Hills mansion. Resembling The Real World and Road Rules, the cast performed takes together while audiences watched the cast’s interpersonal relationships evolve. The series also drew inspiration from The Challenge in that stars from separate avenues of entertainment are brought together in one cast. For the show’s 3rd-7th season, the show moved to VH1.

The concept:

The reboot will air on MTV. Fans can expect all-star guests for season 8 to be pushed to their limits and surprised with provocative missions. The stars will be forced to uncover their pasts and divulge their deepest truths each day of filming.

In other words, brace yourself for a mess!

The cast:

Kim Zolciak– Television personality. Kim first hit the scene with Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ before getting her own spinoff, ‘Tardy For the Party,’ where she shared her family life in Georgia with the world. She’s currently in a messy divorce with NFL alum, Kroy Biermann, broke, and approaching a foreclosure on her home.

Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets will premiere on Tuesday, July 23rd at 9PM on MTV.
