Love Island USA‘s 8th season is (almost!) in the books as Brinity was crowned, and several announcements were made about Peacock’s record-breaking dating show.

Fans of LIUSA have to wait until Monday, Aug. 31st, for the season 8 reunion special. Emmy nominee Ariana Madix will co-host with her former boss, Bravo TV’s Andy Cohen.
Building on the franchise’s continued success, Peacock announced they also renewed Love Island: Beyond the Villa for a third season, set to premiere in 2027. Additional cast details will be announced later this year.
Love Island USA 2026 ranked as the No. 1 streaming reality series for five consecutive weeks. More than 30% of viewers this season were new to the Love Island franchise. Nearly 30% of viewing occurred on mobile devices, making it one of Peacock’s largest mobile audiences ever for an entertainment series.
The series also continued to dominate across social media, generating more than 4 billion video views and ranking as the number one social program since its premiere, according to Sprout Social Content Rankings.
Ariana Madix earned accolades for her third season hosting … and her first Emmy nomination!
The Vanderpump Rules alum – who placed third on Dancing With the Stars and starred as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway – took over hosting duties from actress Sarah Hyland.
Ariana is in immaculate company. Also nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program category are RuPaul Charles of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alan Cumming of The Traitors, Kristen Kish of Top Chef, and Jeff Probst of Survivor.
