There’s a new bombshell entering the Emmy Award Nomination List, and her name is Ariana Madix!!!
The Vanderpump Rules star – who placed third on Dancing With the Stars and starred as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway – was nominated for her role as host of Love Island USA.
ICYMI, Ariana joined LIUSA as host in Season 6 after actresses Sarah Hyland and Arielle Vandenberg hosted the first five American installments.
Ariana is in immaculate company. Also nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program category are RuPaul Charles of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alan Cumming of The Traitors, Kristen Kish of Top Chef, and Jeff Probst of Survivor.
Actor Alan Cumming won the category for the past two years for his work on The Traitors US. Before Alan’s reign, RuPaul had taken the Emmy for eight consecutive years.
The first time reality TV was included in the running was in 2008, with Survivor host Probst taking the Emmy for the first four years.
In addition to hosting Love Island USA, Madix is also the host of spinoff competition Love Island Games, which is expected to return for a third season in 2027.
While Ariana’s work in front of a fire pit got her an Emmy nom, her ex, Tom Sandoval, is also synonymous with a fire pit … but not in a good way.
