The Traitors US season 4 players Lisa Rinna and Ron Funches have joined forces in an ad for the Committee for the First Amendment.
With The Traitors score playing in the background, the comedian and former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills shared an important message in a joint post in support of the Freedom of Speech.
“We should all be speaking up about the federal government’s attacks on our communities and freedom,” stated their caption.
The ad:
Ron applauded Rinna. “We have seen you be very outspoken on the internet lately.”
Fans – myself, at least – figured he was talking about Rinna calling her nemesis Colton Underwood a stalker. But, Ron continued, “Quite frankly, I’m proud of all the protestors out there.”
Rinna interjected, “Wait. I thought we were talking about all the Traitors fans. Our people.”
“That’s fine,” Ron continued, “But I’m talking about more important things. People are using their First Amendment rights to get their voices heard. Rinna added, “Yes. That also is iconic.”
Ron continued, “People who are not afraid to go out into the literal streets against a government that is trying to silence them and overstep its bounds.” Lisa pontificated, “Wow. When you put it like that, that really is a Faithful VS Traitor situation. So the choice is simple.”
Ron encouraged people to speak up, “and that means criticize the government when it does something wrong.”
