The Valley‘s Kristen Doute admitted the show feels different without Brittany Cartwright’s estranged husband on the cast, but the Vanderpump Rules alum feels Tom Schwartz and Lala Kent have brought authentic relationships to the group.
In an interview with Decider, Kristen dished on the third season of The Valley.
“No one can fill Jax’s shoes,” began Kristen, “But no one can fill Tom’s shoes or Lala’s shoes. It was always odd to be filming The Valley knowing that Tom’s right down the street. We really wanted him to be a part of it.”
“I’ve been friends [with Lala] for a decade. We had a falling out. We’ve had our ups and downs, for sure, as people [saw] on Vanderpump [Rules].”
“But, it was so nice to get my friend back. Especially during motherhood. She gave me the most genuine, heartfelt apology. She kept trying.”
“I’d love everyone to give her a chance, too. I do read all the comments. It’s like, ‘We didn’t ask for this.’ But, I’m like, ‘Just watch and try.'”
