The double standards at Bravo were highlighted after news broke about Real Housewives of Atlanta‘sKenya Moore being “suspended indefinitely” for revenge porn. Bravo TV fans were quick to wonder why Kenya is being punished for something her male counterparts at the network get away with.
First let’s catch up on Kenya’s drama:
ICYMI, the controversial RHOA displayed an explicit photo of Brittany Eady at an event for all her partygoers to see. While the controversial RHOA personality denies engaging “in revenge porn,” Kenya tweeted, “I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone.” Nor have I “solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail. I have always been vindicated.”
The super sleuths at @ThePinkPopBox posted a photo of a poster that stated, “Insurance Fraud Ho,” but had no photos attached. However, if you look closely at the poster, it appears another poster rests behind it that appears to have photos with captions on it.
Additional evidence continued to mount against Kenya. Instagram creator @FaceReality16 posted audio from Kenya’s event in which a woman can be heard exclaiming, “That’s a penis!” as Kenya went off on Brittany. “Brittany does escort. There’s an IG that put her email down on blast. She charges $1,400 for an appointment. You not only a ho, you a CHEAP ho.” Kenya continued, “You on covers of magazines being a thot. You over here on Snapchat, your body was like Snapchatting that pussy.”
Now, onto the men of Bravo:
Let’s start with Tom Sandoval. The karaoke enthusiast famously recorded his paramour, Rachel Leviss, masturbating without her consent. The former beauty pageant contestant has taken legal action against Sandoval. Bravo, on the other hand, allowed Sandoval back for another season. Even worse … production had the audacity to try to give the Tom a redemption arc. Bravoholics weren’t buying it.
For the record, Tom was not only allowed back to VPR, he’s in Scotland filming The Traitors for Bravo’s affiliate network, Peacock. Outside Bravo, but Sandoval also appeared on The Masked Singer and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test after it was established that he invaded his tryst’s privacy.
Bravo TV fans continued to call out the double standard:
- Let’s not forget Joe Jorge shared Danielle’s sex tape with all the men. The men and woman were laughing and commenting on her appearance. Marge also calling Danielle the name that her abuser used to call her to rile her up. They all needed to be fired for that
- Don’t forget Whitney, who produces southern charm, shared Taylor’s nudes…..
