Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Keiarna Stewart didn’t mince words when it came to Dr. Wendy Osefo‘s arrest for fraud and their current frenemy status.
During a Watch What Happens Live interview, Keiarna told Andy Cohen the low-down on where she stands with the alleged fraudster.
The arrest:
“I was shocked,” began Keiarna.
“To be honest, I was also a little bit disappointed. I didn’t expect that.”
“All I have to say is, thoughts and prayers for Wendy at this time. It’s sad.”
Not aligned:
Bravo TV‘s executive wondered what the real issue was between Wendy and Keiarna. “Andy, I hate this because as a borderline rookie, there’s a lot of things we don’t always get to shed light on immediately in front of the camera.”
“It was just phony. It was fake.”
“It was one of those things that was frustrating for me when it came to Wendy. I’d see Wendy on camera, she’d be my really good co-host, but when it came to building genuine friendships, we just didn’t have that.”
Keiarna tried to get Wendy on the same page she was on. “I was trying to give her examples that I just feel aligned with what I thought friendship was.” But, it didn’t work out as she hoped. “It was disappointing.”
“[Wendy would] show up on camera and be like, ‘Hey girl.’ No, it’s not ‘Hey girl.'”
Andy was “sad” to learn of Wendy’s arrest:
Earlier this month, Andy Cohen took to his SiriusXM radio show to weigh in on Wendy and Eddie Osefo’s shocking arrests.
“I want to say that like all of you, I found out about the charges against Wendy and Eddie Osefo on Friday morning,” Andy began. “I’m sad about this; I’m really sad about this.”
Andy also maintained he doesn’t have any more information about what happened than we do. “She’s always led with education and her solid family values. I’m really thinking about her family and certainly hoping this is all some big, you know, nothing.”
