Karen Huger‘s presence was strong at the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion despite her absence after being found guilty of DUI … she even sent a tearful video message to her co-stars from the “private recovery program” she checked herself into.
Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch, Keiarna Stewart, and Mia Thornton, viewed Karen’s video with host Andy Cohen from the season 9 reunion set.
Seated with the women was a framed photograph of Karen dressed in the same color palette as her co-stars.

In the footage, the ‘Grande Dame‘ broke down crying as she recorded from an unidentified living room. While we have to wait to see Karen’s message, her words appear to make Mia, Keiarna, and Gizelle emotional.
“As much as I hate her, I love her,” expressed Gizelle, whose had a complicated relationship with Karen since season one. RHOP newbie, Keiarna added, “I think it’s just sad.”
Wendy, on the other hand, wasn’t buying what Karen was selling. “Having seen that, it all adds up.” She continued, “Now, I can confidently say, ‘That is not my friend.”
Another bombshell accusation about Karen dropped:
A later revelation from Wendy exposed Karen’s drinking habits before her DUI. On top of that, Ashley dropped the claim that there was “a person” in the car with Karen at the time of the accident “who fled.”
Mia added, the person who “fled” was Karen’s “boyfriend.”
Andy Cohen asked the RHOP stars, “If she goes to jail, how will she do?” The question that was met with a unanimous “terrible.”
Gizelle poked, “Like, you can’t wear your wig.”
The three-part RHOP reunion kicks off Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. on Bravo TV.
