Jinger Duggar is addressing the shocking headlines surrounding her family.
On March 25, Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo released a new episode of their Jinger & Jeremy podcast where they reacted to the arrests of her brother Joseph Duggar and his wife Kendra.
ICYMI: Joseph was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim under 12 years old, as well as lewd and lascivious conduct by a person 18 or older, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
Just days later, Kendra was also arrested on an unrelated charge that authorities say stemmed from the investigation into her husband.
According to the Tontitown Police Department in Arkansas, both Joseph and Kendra are now facing four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree and four counts of false imprisonment in the second degree.
On the podcast, Jinger said the past week has been devastating.
Jinger enters the chat
“This has been such a long week. It’s been one of those weeks that feels like years,” she shared.
“I did not think my heart could break like it has this week. The pain and heartbreak that we’ve had over this… it’s just unthinkable. It’s so hard and painful on many levels.”
Jinger also acknowledged that this situation brings back memories of past scandals involving the Duggar family.
“You can’t be prepared for news like this, even though we’ve experienced something very similar before with one of my other siblings who made unthinkable choices… the pain and hurt that’s caused to us, but then to so many others, is just so hard.”
