After nine seasons on MTV, Jersey Shore Family Vacation appears to be closing its chapter on the network… for now.
On March 4, reports surfaced that MTV has opted not to pick up the long running spinoff for another season.
The decision comes amid major corporate shakeups following Paramount’s recently announced restructuring efforts.
MTV, of course, operates under the Paramount umbrella.
But before anyone starts pouring out a shot of Ron-Ron Juice, the cast is making it clear this isn’t the end of the road.
Snooki hinted that something new is already in the works when she posted an Instagram reel on March 4.
“Legends don’t retire — they reroute. 💕The network changed. The legacy didn’t. Jersey Shore is forever. Just wait until you see what’s next ✌🏽💋,” she captioned the video.
The compilation video featured Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D, Sammi “Sweetheart,” Ronnie, Mike “The Situation,” Angelina, and Deena — essentially confirming the whole fam is still very much intact.
The teaser ended with a message:
“Stay tuned to see what’s next. This fam lives forever.”
So while Family Vacation may be wrapping up on MTV, it sounds like the Jersey Shore crew could be gearing up for a new chapter — possibly on another network or streaming platform.
