Just ahead of the Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 premiere, Jennifer Pedranti is clearing up rumors about her son.
The returning OC Housewife confirmed the “rumblings” that her son was involved in a brush fire that burned seven acres in Ladera Ranch, California.
“I would like to clear up the rumblings of my son having involvement in the Ladera Ranch fire,” Jennifer wrote on July 9.
“He and others were involved.”
The Bravo star said she and her ex-husband, William Pedranti, are taking the incident “very seriously.”
“This behavior is unacceptable and we are deeply sorry to our community. This is a tough learning moment for our son and our family,” Jennifer continued.
Thankfully, no homes or other property were damaged, no one was injured, and no arrests were made.
However, Jennifer noted that there will still be consequences.
She shared that her son will complete a fire safety course to help ensure something like this doesn’t happen again.
“There are consequences within our family and we will make sure our son learns from this accident.”
