Jen Affleck is breaking her silence on a comment Julianne Hough made on Dancing With the Stars.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star spoke with Virtual Reali-Tea about the DWTS host calling out the fact that she had “clearly” just had a baby.
“There’s a lot of things I don’t think I processed on Dancing with the Stars,” Jen admitted during the podcast.
“I was in pure survival mode,” she continued, adding that she hadn’t really processed that particular comment at the time.
“There [are] a lot of nerves when it comes to being on national TV in front of millions of people, so I don’t think she had any ill intent whatsoever,” Jen said.
“I think it was just a comment in the moment that was just perceived the wrong way.”

The reality star gave birth to her daughter Penelope just eight weeks prior to competing for the Mirrorball Trophy.
During the season premiere, Julianne asked Jen:
“How did you feel after, just clearly, giving birth and getting out here on the dance floor?”
Some fans thought the co-host was being shady, but clearly Jen didn’t take it that way!
