Jasmine Goode took to Threads to further explain her criticism surrounding parenthood during The Valley Season 3 reunion.
During Part 2 of the reunion, Jasmine expressed frustration with what she perceived as some of the cast using parenthood as a “get out of jail free” card.
Naturally, the former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader’s comments didn’t exactly land with a stage full of parents.
“I just want to clarify, I am absolutely empathizing that parenthood is challenging,” Jasmine wrote following the episode airing on Aug. 12.
“I don’t have kids yet, but I can see how incredibly tiring it is,” she continued.
The reality star is hopeful to have kids soon, and when she does, she hopes she’ll also be “given grace.”
“My only intention was that I wish people wouldn’t constantly use that as the primary reason for their behavior,” Jasmine explained.
Janet Caperna, who is the mother of an almost 3-year-old son, Cameron, defended Jasmine in the comments.
“I knew what you meant you’ve been nothing but supportive to us as parents and we love you!”
I was also following Jasmine’s logic, particularly as it pertains to Danny Booko and his “four under four.”
Danny justified some of his poor behavior throughout the season by explaining that he was tired and in the newborn trenches during filming.
Most of the cast pushed back on Jasmine’s POV, including host Andy Cohen, who explained that being tired and emotionally spent comes with the territory of parenthood.
