During The Valley‘s After Show, the cast discussed Janet Caperna accusing Danny Booko of sexual assault.
Janet stood ten toes down that Danny assaulted multiple women:
“I understand why that was harsh language and a tough pill to for Nia and Danny [Booko] to swallow,” began the lawyer’s wife. “At the same time, when you touch someone’s butt without consent, that falls under the term that I used.”
Jasmine Goode felt validated by the use of Janet’s words. “She’s not wrong when she said it was S.A. It technically is.” Zack Wikham noted that he looked up the phrase sexual assault and was shocked to hear how broad the definition was.
Jasmine understands where Janet was coming from, but “it’s to a point now where Melissa and I need to handle it.” Zack feels Janet should have used another term.
Condescendingly, Janet continued. “I probably should have used lighter words. And I would love for them to let me know which words they’re ok with using to describe the situation. Which words are you using when you talk about it?”
The group’s reactions:
Kristen believes “It’s so damaging to say things like that about someone. As the wife of a lawyer, she should know that.” Nia agreed. “Does it involve her? Why are you even speaking on this anyway?”
Jason tried to play it off like he and Janet didn’t want to talk about it, but Brock Davies quickly cut him off… and gave the lawyer shady AF side-eye, that was well deserved.
“For her to throw those words around like she did, so nonchalant and blatantly,” added Danny, “There’s no coming back from this right now.”
Another claim courtesy of Janet:
Allegedly, Danny also said he liked hot girls in short skirts, as per Janet Caperna. This time, production clocked her. They cut to Jason saying he never heard Danny say that. Also, Brittany Cartwright and Lala Kent said they never heard Danny say that.
Danny joked that Janet’s face was a tell as she stared Jason down with hopes to get him to confirm her version of the story … which he didn’t. Janet also alleged Jason had to pull Danny off multiple women multiple times.
Danny claimed that he received a call from Jason after he allegedly had to pull him off random fans. Jason told Danny he did nothing wrong. The father of four under four knew that he was done with the Capernas at that point.
Janet reinforced, “I know I have never lied in this situation.” She believes everyone in the group is guilty of speaking about Danny. “Get better at hiding it. Don’t do it in the middle of Jax’s bar in front of all of our friends.”
Nia no longer believes Janet, as she has heard the story in several versions from Janet’s mouth.
