The Valley: Persian Style‘s Mercedeh Javid and Jamie Kennedy had a heated argument on Jeff Lewis Live after the actor/comedian slammed MJ’s skills as a real estate agent.
Jamie, whose character Randy Meeks taught a generation about the rules of horror in the first three Scream movies, skipped the small talk on the Sirius XM show. Instead, he channeled his inner Andy Cohen and ran through his scroll of grievances with the Shahs of Sunset alum.
Jamie vs MJ:
“I don’t like her,” declared Jamie. “She’s disrespectful [and] not thorough. This is called accountability. Accountability is your kryptonite. I’m not gonna do small talk. You two can laugh all you want. You can laugh all you want. Because everyone knows that’s a bullsh*t cover.”
MJ is a licensed real estate agent who works for The Agency, Mauricio Umansky’s firm. She recently helped Jamie purchase a $3M LA mansion. However, he was unhappy with the way she handled some of the loose ends after they closed.
Jamie claimed that when he moved in, he asked Mercedeh for the listing agent’s contact information so he could forward the previous owner’s mail. Apparently, Jamie texted MJ, saying something snarky along the lines of, “What, you got paid and now you don’t care anymore?”
MJ clapped back:
According to Merecedeh, Jamie threw a temper tantrum. She said he had been a “demeaning” and “disrespectful” client.
“[He’s] mistreating me the same way he mistreats other women in his life.”
ICYMI, Jamie Kennedy has been criticized for aggressive responses to female hecklers. In 2019, a woman claimed she was harassed and eventually left his show in tears after the comedian allegedly mocked her for not laughing at jokes concerning sexual assault and “Me Too” culture.
In 2003, a woman sued Jamie for intentional infliction of emotional distress following a prank on his show that involved a staged brawl. She alleged the experience caused her severe anxiety and paranoia.
