The mass exodus of friends and fans unfollowing former Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy continues after he proudly posted a photo with the Tate Brothers … then lied about knowing who they were.
Instagram’s @bravobuds posted evidence of James’ followers on the ‘gram.

A disclaimer was added to the creator’s post. She proved that Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, and Ally Lewber have all unfollowed James.
This trio wasn’t the first to disassociate with James after lying about being a fan of the Tate Brothers:
Immediately after the DJ posed and posted a photo with Andrew and Tristan Tate, Ariana Madix unfollowed her former friend.
Again, it was @bravobuds who pointed out the Love Island USA host unfollowed James. The social media creator also posted Instagram stats proving that James’ popularity has continued to plummet since posting the very telling pic.
On average, James lost about 233 followers a day for the 12 days of this analysis.
After James posted a pic with the Tate Brothers, James lost 1,734 followers – including Ariana – in a single day.
Who HASN’T unfollowed James …
We weren’t SURprised – however disappointed – that Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, and Lisa Vanderpump all follow the disgraced DJ.
After LVP defended James after his DV arrest, we expected this. ICYMI, Lisa repeated what Ally Lewber told her about James Kennedy‘s domestic violence arrest. Long story short, Lisa defended James.
James apologized for posting the pic:
“I regret posting a photo with the Tate brothers at an event last night.” James’ Instagram apology continued, “I was unfamiliar with their content and the allegations against them. I only knew them as podcasters that had posted a viral clip about Vanderpump.”
James claimed he has “since educated myself and condemn their beliefs.” He said, “Sorry to all that I offended.”
Tristan Tate clapped back at James Kennedy’s apology:
