Lisa Vanderpump repeated what Ally Lewber told her about James Kennedy‘s domestic violence arrest.
Vanderpump Rules‘ matriarch told US Weekly what she learned after speaking “to James and to Ally at great length.”
Lisa stands by James:
LVP stated she would never “drop the ball on somebody that I’ve supported and has had a troubled time” simply because cameras aren’t currently rolling.
“The first [and] most important thing for me was [to know] what happened exactly,” Lisa explained. “I didn’t need to just hear from James. I needed to hear from Ally, too, from her mouth what happened.”
According to Lisa, Ally “told me categorically he didn’t hurt her. He never hurts her. They were both drinking.” Both were “both being ridiculous and arguing,” which resulted in somebody calling the police.
LVP continued to repeat what she heard from Ally. “She basically said, ‘Oh yes, take him away,” to the officer. “It’ll teach him a lesson.’”
“But no, [James] didn’t hurt her categorically,” Lisa declared. Ally “regrets what happened with how this blew up.”
LVP also expressed concerns for Kennedy’s sobriety. “I’ve been very honest and said, ‘James, you should never have another drop in your life,’” she said. “So was I concerned? Yes.”
Bravo TV fans reacted:
- I don’t trust anything she says. She’d protect him no matter what
- I feel like this was a lot to say without Ally saying it directly. Hopefully she approved all of this.
- Shocker… she always supports those boys over the women.
- Not surprised that LVP minimises another woman’s experience. It’s her usual misogynistic MO to support problematic men. She also covered for James against Kristen by not releasing footage
- Enabler. No surprise.
