James Kennedy responds to the backlash he received after posting a photo with Andrew and Tristan Tate.
The DJ alleged he wasn’t familiar with the Tate Brothers. If you find yourself in a similar boat to James, allow me to shed light on their checkered past and present.
Andrew Tate is a British-American social media personality, former kickboxer, and entrepreneur.
He gained infamy through his controversial views, mainly surrounding gender roles.
Most recently, Tate and his brother, Tristan, left Romania late last month after a travel ban on them was lifted while they face charges including human trafficking, all part of an alleged organized crime ring. Andrew Tate was also charged with rape.
The Apology
“I regret posting a photo with the Tate brothers at an event last night,” James began his Instagram story apology.
“I was unfamiliar with their content and the allegations against them. I only knew them as podcasters that had posted a viral clip about Vanderpump. I have since educated myself and condemn their beliefs. I am sorry to all that I offended.”
James hasn’t fully left the dog house since his domestic violence arrest. Now, keeping the company of two individuals who are on trial for such atrocities is an interesting choice for the VPR alum.
