Hannah and Paige are giggling all the way to Netflix!
Deadline exclusively revealed that Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo have a new project in the works with the streamer.
Netflix is developing a half hour scripted comedy co-written and headlined by the Giggly Squad co-hosts, which the platform reportedly landed in a competitive situation.
The series will be produced by Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation, SNL), with Kay Cannon (Pitch Perfect, 30 Rock) co-writing and serving as showrunner.
What to expect:
Set in New York City, the untitled Hannah and Paige project will star Berner and DeSorbo as fictionalized versions of themselves, playing ride-or-die best friends helping each other shed their baggage and become the people they’ve always wanted to be.
The idea for the show comes from the Summer House alums themselves, who first met while briefly working for the same company in NYC before later bonding on Bravo’s hit series.
Both joined Summer House in Season 3.
ICYMI: Hannah exited the show after Season 5 to focus on her stand-up career, while Paige departed after Season 9 and has since leaned into her fashion and influencer ventures, including the launch of her Daphne sleepwear line.
However, not to make this about Kyle Cooke… but we would love eyes on him right about now.
