Gabby Windey is a faithful, and she’ll be so in marriage too!
In January, the former Bachelorette secretly tied the knot with her partner Robby Hoffman.
Gabby told Cosmopolitan that the couple evacuated to Las Vegas during the LA wildfires.
“What better time to get married than right now? Because if the world is ending, we want to be with each other.”
The couple originally tried to evacuate to Palm Springs with no success. Thankfully, Robby had a connection in Vegas who put them up in a penthouse — reminiscent of a wedding suite.
An Idea Was Born
“It was nice, it being my idea. Robby was literally ready to propose three weeks in and I’m always the one pumping the brakes, but when something feels right, it just feels right. I think it was better for the both of us that it was my idea,” Gabby recalled.
Gabby and Robby spend most mornings doing Wordle and NYT crossword puzzles over coffee, so that’s how Robby popped the question.
“We had our engagement dinner at the Wynn buffet over crab legs.”
In total, the wedding cost the duo $799 — limo, photos, and minister.
“Everything just fell into place so naturally. It felt so serendipitous and so precious and so meant to be.”
And so, Gabby and Robby returned home to Los Angeles as a married couple.
“There’s a comfort that comes with knowing you want to be together forever. Having Robby in my corner and believing in me, she’s helped me so much in the two years we’ve been together. This is the person I want next to me my whole life. I wish it was just us two all the time.”
