Dolores Catania chose the two Real Housewives of New Jersey personalities she’d like to join her in the 15th season’s cast … if there’s a 15th season. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, RHONJ‘s peace-keeper also explained the vibe of the reunion-replacement event.
The season 14 reunion viewing event:
“I think we all felt more comfortable with the fact that it wasn’t a reunion. That finale was really hard on all of us. It was better that we watched it the way that we did.”
Additionally, Dolo does not have any “lingering questions” she wished Andy would have asked at the ‘Off The Rails’ reunion replacement viewing event. “We’ve had enough.”
Name ’em!
Danny Pellegrino, the podcaster who was also a guest on WWHL, asked Switzerland if she could bring back two Housewives (in addition to herself) back on the show, who it would be. Dolo replied, “Of course, Teresa” Giudice. “I’ve always been close with her. And Jen Fessler is hysterical. But, I love them all. I really love them as a group.”
Dolores’s take on rumors about the cast:
It’s been alleged Bravo TV plans to put the Real Housewives of NJ “on ice” after a disjointed cast left the show with the lowest ratings in the show’s fourteen seasons.
A source told DailyMail.com, “Filming will likely not resume until 2025. There are not going to be any decisions about what will or won’t happen with the show until early next year. There is not going to be any more filming of RHONJ for the remainder of the year. There’s nothing planned. It’s on ice.”
According to the source, “Everybody is waiting to find out what’s going to happen. The rumor that some of the Jersey women have already being fired is “not true. The cast for the new season is not going to be decided anytime soon. Casting is not something Bravo is rushing into. It’s not even going to start to take form until next year.”
