Colton Underwood “Spun Out” After Lisa Rinna Asked About His ‘Hold A Housewife Hostage’ Statement

Actress/banished Traitor, Lisa Rinna, clarified what really went down with Colton Underwood when they filmed The Traitors US season 4 reunion after rumors spread online.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum asked the former Bachelor about his criminal history, which “spun him out.”

Despite it being reported that Colton walked off set after an interaction with Rinna, she told Variety that wasn’t how she remembers it.

“I didn’t see it myself. I saw him leave, but I saw other people leave too, to go to the bathroom and such, but it took a long time for people to come back. That I can share with you.”

“But let’s put it on the record, because they probably won’t air it, right?” Rinna continued. “I said, ‘Colton, I have a question for you: What did you mean when you said, “I’m going to take her hostage?”’ That’s all I said. And that spun him out.” 

A source who was at the taping stated that Colton “did not storm out or spin out at any point,” despite the online fodder. Rinna went on to call the chatter about her contentious dynamic with the former Bachelor star “silly,” noting that The Traitors is “a game.”

“I never meant any harm. Hopefully, we can all have a kumbaya moment.”

The feud began when Colton, a now-murdered Faithful, suspected Rinna was a Traitor. Colton revealed a plan to keep her “hostage.” He said he would protect her from “banishment” if she kept him from getting “murdered.”

When the episode aired, the Melrose Place actress brought up past allegations against Colton, who criminally stalked his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Randolph. Lisa chimed in on a social media thread, writing: “Let’s talk about you being a stalker…”
