Bravo and football? It’s the American Dream!
The drama on the sidelines is about to get a lot more interesting than the drama ON the field.
A source close to People Magazine exclusively revealed that Bravo has its eyes on the Midwest team. However, its not in the way sports fan are accustomed to.
The network is interested in focusing on the wives and girlfriends (aka WAGs) of the Kansas City Chiefs.
The show is in its early stages, but cast members include Mecole Hardman Jr.’s fiancé Chariah Gordon and Sheawna Weathersby, who shares two kids with defensive tackle Chris Jones.
“There’s still lots to figure out,” the source begins.
“Who would be a part of the final cast and whether there’s enough there to build a full series around. It’s very much a work in progress.”
The Taylor Effect?
Of course, the Kansas City Chiefs are no stranger to front page news, especially after winning back to back Super Bowl championship games.
Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are household names, holding impressive records and notoriety in their own right.
However, we can’t help but wonder if Taylor Swift has anything to do with the network singling out the Chiefs for easy viewership. Swifties literally tune into game days just to maybe catch a glimpse of the songstress in a suite.
We highly doubt Taylor will be involved in any way, but the possibility of cameos or potential tea spillage has to be a leveraging tool to get the project financed.
The same source maintained that though this is in the very preliminary stages, there is still much “to figure out.”
Personally, this seems to be a great call for Bravo!
They haven’t done a sports focused reality show like this. Even though Bravo’s sister company, E!, had the iconic show “Catching Kelce,” that premiered in 2016.
I’m here for next gen of Bravo.
