Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Katsanevas and her husband of 27 years, Shawn Trujillo, have split, according to reports from Page Six.
“Multiple sources” told the tabloid that the Lunatic Fringe Salon co-founders are no longer together romantically. Allegedly, the couple “quietly called it quits months ago.” They chose to keep the news private as they navigated the future of their family and business dynamics.
During Angie’s first full-time season on RHOSLC, season 4, rumors circulated that Shawn was cheating on her with men. Angie Katsanevas was shocked and hurt that her co-stars would perpetuate the chatter, which she viewed as an attack on her relationship. Trujillo, who denied the behavior, was also upset by the speculation.
At this point, it’s unclear whether Angie and Shawn’s marital woes will play out on Season 7, which began filming in late February. Production wrapped in late May.
